Which Practical Test?
A Motorcycle Licence Unrestricted Direct Access
Riders aged 21 years and over. Taken on a machine of at least 35kw (46.6bhp). Once passed this enables the holder to ride any motorcycle straight away. click here
A2 Standard Motorcycle Licence Restricted to 33bhp for two years
Taken on a machine between 120cc and 125cc. Once passed this is a full motorcycle licence, but the holder is restricted to a 25kw (33bhp) motorcycle for the first two years. click here
A1 Light Motorcycle Licence
Taken on a machine between 75cc and 120cc. Once passed this enables the holder to ride a motorcycle up to 120cc. click here
