Kev has been a full-time motorcycle-riding instructor for fourteen years, teaching literally thousands of people to ride, enabling them to gain a full motorcycle licence. His dedication to the job is unfaltering, and it is amazing after so many years his love for what he does is still so openly apparent.

For the past ten years Kev has also taught Advanced Riding Techniques, allowing many Smart trainees to further develop their riding skills and pass their Advanced Riding Tests, gaining IAM* or RoSPA** Certificates. He is also a committee member for The Hull and East Riding Advanced Motorcyclists (HERAM), devoting much of his time voluntarily for the aim of promoting safer riding.

Kev is undoubtedly committed to ‘all things motorcycling’, not only training seven days a week in the summer but spending much of his leisure time coaching the younger members of the team, Harriet and Jessica to ride their own machines safely and considerately. Kev also enjoys riding moto-X, racing, and touring abroad, recently riding across five countries in one day!

Having completed a Certificate in Education with The University of Huddersfield, Kev is continuing his professional development and embarking on further qualifications this year.
